TOKYO, November 22, 2018 — Takenaka corporation and GRAPHISOFT SE / GRAPHISOFT JAPAN have announced that they have signed a strategic partnership for promoting BIM.
Takenaka Corporation and GRAPHISOFT have agreed to share and coordinate their vision regarding BIM, while developing and improving the Graphisoft products used by Takenaka as their BIM platform to adapt the products for the construction process. GRAPHISOFT will share the product development road map and development versions with Takenaka, and Takenaka will provide feedback on these. Takenaka Corporation will provide GRAPHISOFT with the details of their design and construction process for a deeper understanding of their product requirements. This collaboration is not only for the improvement of BIM, however; it is for promoting BIM around the world.
About the strategic partnership
- Share and coordinate the vision of BIM for both companies;
- Fully understand the design and construction process at Takenaka Corporation;
- Properly reflect priorities of BIM at Takenaka Corporation in Graphisoft ‘s product roadmap;
- Support GRAPHISOFT activities to promote worldwide BIM development.
The partnership will last through December 2020.
