Vilalta studio is an award-winning architectural design studio in Barcelona with a primary focus on architectural design and urbanism solutions. Their work combines innovative technology with local resources and culture to create contemporary designs suitable for the local environment. They design wide-scale of projects from large-scale international projects to smaller-scale developments with a great balance on both sustainability and innovation concerns. Some of their recognition and awarded ca be listed as Young Architect of the Year at the LEAF Awards 2008, 2009 and 2010; the SAIE Selection at Energy Exhibition in Bologna (Italy), International cooperation award from the Association of Architects of Catalonia and an Honorable Mention for the Modern Atlanta Prize during 2013. In 2017, the Lideta Mercato project was honoured by the UNESCO Prix Versailles as the best shopping mall worldwide. The Vilalta studio is proudly using Archicad as their BIM authoring software for design development and deliveries. This studio benefits from Graphisoft Learn certification programs to stay up-to-date with all the new BIM workflows, standards and best practices.
