Archicad 11 Hotfix for both FULL and EDU versions (Build 1033)

This Hotfix includes important fixes for bugs discovered since the original release of Archicad 11 (Build 970/975). This Hotfix can be applied to any builds of Archicad 11 (Build 970 and above).

Please follow the steps below to download and install the Hotfix:

  1. Download the Hotfix by clicking on the file name on the previous page
  2. Exit Archicad before you start the installer
  3. Make sure that you have administrator rights on your computer
  4. Make sure that components of your Archicad installation were not renamed*
  5. If Archicad was installed in a network make sure you are connected to the same network**
  6. Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installer***
  7. Follow the instructions of the wizard to complete the installation

Important install notes:

  • Important Note to IFC users: After installing this Hotfix, please download the latest IFC Add-on from the IFC Support site . This version of the add-on fixes a known problem with the build 1033 version of the IFC Add-on: deleting or copying elements may cause crash.
  • The patch updates all add-ons shipped by Graphisoft, including
    installed goodie tools. Installer identifies add-ons by name, so in
    case there is a third-party add-on installed that has the same name as
    a Graphisoft add-on, the patch installer will fail to update Archicad.
    Please remove any such third party add-on before installing patch.

  • Important to ALL TeamWork Users

    All teammates should sign out of the
    project and exit AC before applying the patch. All teammates should
    then upgrade to the same build number before signing back into the
    project. Problems could arise if this care is not taken.

* The Hotfix will not reinstall missing components and will ignore components that are renamed. In case you changed components in your Archicad folder, we
recommend you reinstall Archicad 10 from the original install CD before
applying the Hotfix

** Especially important for laptops

*** To run the installer Java2 v1.4.2 (or higher) has to be installed on
your computer. You can install Java2 v1.5.0 from your original Archicad
install CD

Most important bugs fixed in this Hotfix*:

  • #66053 – 2D: dimensions get corrupted when changing style from linear to cumulative
  • #65127 – 3D: in case of curved complex walls, sometimes wrong zone body is detected
  • #65156 – ATTRIBUTES: complex profile favorites can not be transferred between files
  • #65308 – ATTRIBUTES: under special circumstances appending attributes is slow
  • #65467 – CRASH: in shadow casting under special circumstances
  • #66265 – CRASH: occasional crashes when editing elements while Trace reference is on
  • #66091 – CRASH: when copying label from floor plan to section window
  • #65309 – CRASH: when starting Archicad on 2 byte-language operating systems
  • #56691 – DWF output: some elements’ 2D symbol turns into solid fills
  • #64247 – DWF output: some fills are missing from output under special circumstances
  • #65479 – DWG output: windows and doors are saved to the wrong layer when saving from section view
  • #65278 – GDL: slanted elements can not be saved as custom objects
  • #66096 – HOTLINKS: updating Hotlinks may delete stories under special circumstances
  • #66191 – LAYOUT: cropped drawing on master layout is not cropped on layouts, under special circumstances
  • #66221 – LAYOUT: drawings are offset at a large distance after update under special circumstances
  • #65925 – LAYOUT: shadow fill type on worksheet is different from shadow fill type in the section/elevation
  • #64766 – LAYOUT: text editing box is black, if background color in model views is set to black
  • #57095 – PRINTING: if fill type is missing, elements apperas with different color on screen and in print
  • #64421 – SCHEDULES: changing window width from schedule offsets window
  • #64708 – SCHEDULES: window inside / outside not consistent in graphic schedules
  • #65961 – SPEED: 2D rebuild time is slow if many window objects are in the project
  • #66178 – SPEED: navigating on layout is slower than on model view, if tehere are many texts
  • #65866 – SPEED: trace references unnecessarily update after element editing
