Graphisoft (Frankfurt Neuer Markt symbol: GPH) announced today that it will offer two new add-ons to Archicad 6.0 for US residential designers and builders at the 1999
International Builders Show in Dallas, Texas, January 15-19. Graphisoft
is on booth 3293.
The Archicad Design/Build Series add-ons, which run with Archicad 6.0 and
replace the current Builder’s Edition sold in the US, consist of three-CD
sets scheduled to be delivered in January, May and October. Each CD will
carry a combination of API software, library parts, templates, details,
modules and sample files that tailor and enhance Archicad for the builder
and residential designer.
The Design & Presentation CD #1 includes:
RoofMaker®
RoofMaker enables users to frame roofs in both 2D and 3D fast and
effectively. Launched from Archicad’s Tools Menu, RoofMaker creates
ridges, valleys and rafters as editable Archicad
library parts over roof surfaces.
MoldingMaker®
Choose from more than 50 molding profiles and MoldingMaker quickly
creates base, chair and crown molding, and wall paneling with perfect mitered connections for great presentations.
Web site Templates
Two sample Web sites for users to quickly publish their work on the Web
or use a browser as a presentation tool. Users simply save drawings as
renderings, VRs and animations under specified
names and they appear in the Web sites.
Additional Library Objects
More than 100 additional residential library parts including steel beams,
TJI joists, classical columns, skylights, bathroom fixtures, chimney caps, HVAC grills, deck rails, furniture, corrugated siding, people, vehicles, trees and hedges.
Room Modules
