Archicad 14 NOR Library Update

Version 3824.185

This Hotfix includes important fixes for library bugs discovered since the original release of Archicad 14 (Build 3018). This Hotfix can be applied to any build of Archicad 14 (Build 3018 and above).

Install steps:

  1. Download the Hotfix.
  2. Exit Archicad before you start the installer.
  3. Make sure that you have administrator rights on your computer.
  4. Make sure that components of your Archicad Library have not been renamed or in any other way modified. If you have modified the Archicad 14 standard library, please re-install it from the original Archicad install DVD.
  5. Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installer. To run the installer, Java version 6 must be installed on your computer. You can install Java version 6 from your original Archicad install DVD.
  6. Follow the instructions of the wizard to complete the installation.


Most important bugs corrected in this update:

  • 119589 Doors: Default setting of ‘ifc_optypestr’ parameter value is ‘Single Door Single Swing’ even in double and swing doors.
  • 119748 Doors: It is not possible to see and change ‘IFC Operation’ (coming from ifc_optypestr parameter) in the Parameters tab
  • 119468 Doors: Norwegian 2 sidelight Door: choosing Type 4 sidelight: only one sidelight can be customized in User Interface
  • 115758 NS 3925 Rømningsplaner elements: cannot be resized
  • 113406 Objects: NS-ISO 6309 varselskilt elements are incorrectly positioned.
  • 119733 Windows: Default setting of ‘ifc_optypestr’ parameter value is ‘Double Horizontal’ even in other type windows
