Archicad 12 GRE Library Update

Version 2009-03-18

This Hotfix includes important fixes for library bugs discovered since the original release of Archicad 12 (Build 2285). This Hotfix can be applied to any build of Archicad 12 (Build 2285 and above).

Install steps:

1. Download the Hotfix from the previous page.
2. Exit Archicad before you start the installer.
3. Make sure that you have administrator rights on your computer.
4. Make sure that components of your Archicad Library have not been renamed or in any other way modified. If you have modified the Archicad 12 standard library, please re-install it from the original Archicad install DVD.
5. Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installer. To run the installer, Java version 6 must be installed on your computer. You can install Java version 6 from your original Archicad install DVD.
6. Follow the instructions of the wizard to complete the installation.

Most important bugs corrected in this update:

• 82494 Automatic dimensioning: more options needed for which opening size should be dimensioned
• 81692 Corner Window: W M Bottom Hung 12: 2D script warning when changing corner window type
• 80198 Curtain Wall Accessories – Design cap 01 12 : gaps inside on curved Curtain Wall
• 77170 Curtain Wall Accessories: the 3D Representation can’t be changed
• 85524 Curtain Wall Window: error after adding properties of a Curtain Wall window with inject to a panel. It is not possible to edit this new window anymore, and will have gdl error.
• 87952 Doors, Windows: if Scale Sensitive is set to 3D Detail Level doorswindows disappear in 3D and Section only hotspots remain.
• 87140 Doors, Windows: warning appears when placing doors/windows with functional shutter in curved wall
• 87247 Doors: D1, D2 Segmented Transom doors: opening line display on fix transom in 3D
• 83356 Doors: door frame thickness=Wall Thickness extra line appears if the wall thickness is under 100 mm
• 78378 Doors: doors with sidelight or with transom: base hotspots appear in wrong position
• 68214 Doors: Internal Doors/Style 1 Panel type: cannot use Custom Handle
• 87176 Doors: Terrace Door 1,2: different opening line at different scale
• 81863 Doors: Wood Internal Doors with sidelight: threshold work incorrect, when frame thickness equals wall thickness
• 81698 Objects: Audience Seating: seats layout is wrong at Curved option
• 86850 Objects: Cabinet Base 2D: rear overhang the sink stays centered on the counter
• 75940 Objects: Cabinet B-P 2D: wrong knob position
• 87959 Objects: Chairs: cannot Enable Object’s Pens, always use Symbol Line Pens

• 72483 Windows: W Multiside Fix: wallhole rotated for non(4k+2) side counts
• 87439 Windows: W Oval Fix, W Oval Piv: width and height parameters cannot differ
• 66052 Windows: W Splayed Reveal – incorrect floor plan display in case of Projected mode
• 86644 Windows: W1 Casement: incorrect sill connection in curved wall when the windows are next to each other.
• 82315 Windows: wrong Cavity Closure display if Partial Structural Display is set to ‘Core Only’
• 85940 Windows: wrong floor plan display in the trapezoid wall in case of using casing and board at 1:50 and above
