This development expands the “Fit to skin” setting to enable user control over the Floor Plan and Section display of fills in all basic element types, improving consistency.

The appearance of Sections and Elevations in Archicad, such as shadows and coloring, are controlled as view settings (instead of at the viewpoint level). When you switch views, the section display also changes. Users no longer need to create multiple overlapping markers with different settings, or use other workarounds such as Graphic Overrides.

Separate outline and fill pens for all Dimension marker types in Archicad ensures greater flexibility for office standards and documentation styles.
Improve the consistency of documentation of Slab and Mesh tools with other elements, by implementing dedicated overhead line types and pen settings, and removing related controls from Project Preferences in Archicad.
Architects and engineers use Level Dimensions in Archicad which can have multiple dimension values. With a customizable text anchor, the user can control the dimension text position to achieve proper documentation and better readability.
The DDScad system knows which cables are placed on Cable Carrier segments. Based on this information, we can calculate the load (weight) of all cables per meter.
Beams often are linked to the ceiling position. With the Link Story feature in Archicad, Beams will predictably move when story settings change. Consistent with existing Link Story feature in other element types.
