A few years ago, our firm reached a critical point where we had to decide whether or not to continue along the path of 2D design/drafting methods OR make the investment in BIM software. As a small architecture firm, we realized that Integrating BIM software into our workflow was a vital step and Archicad was the appropriate solution. Utilizing the 3D model capabilities early in the design process has been a beneficial communication tool with clients, contractors, engineers, etc. We are so happy we made the leap!
