Renewing Your Archicad Educational / Trial License

Did you know that all students and educators have access to fully functional educational licenses of Archicad BIM software for as long as they are affiliated with an academic institution? Well, you can!

When your Educational license (or trial license) is about to expire, every time you launch the program, you will see a dialog box that prompts you to ‘Click here to obtain a new serial number’ in order to progress through the registration process.

You will then be directed to your account on MyArchicad.com. Once logged in, you will need to click on ‘apply for 1-year license’ and proceed by filling out the form provided.

Once your form has been submitted you will receive an email instructing you to complete the final step: proving your affiliation with an academic institution, which can be done by sending one of the following to edunaregistration@graphisoft.com:

  • copy of your student/faculty ID;
  • screenshot of web registrar;
  • transcript (can be unofficial);
  • payment receipt; or
  • letter from your school on university letterhead verifying that you are a student/teacher.

If you do not see this email within a few minutes, please be sure to check all of your email folders, including your spam/junk folders. After we verify that you are a student, we will process your application as soon as possible and send a confirmation email stating that you have been approved!

If you have any questions about renewing your Educational License of Archicad, please contact edunaregistration@graphisoft.com today!
