Tianjin University Architectural Design and Research Institute, located in Tianjin, China, is shifting its architectural design operations to Archicad.
The Institute, under the auspices of Tianjin University, undertakes project design as well as teaching and scientific research. Their competency ranges from public and civil buildings to industrial estates and residential housing. The Institute has a highly trained staff of more than 100 professionals who have energetically used CAD techniques to adapt to the continuously evolving challenges of modern design. The excellence of their projects has been acknowledged by more than 30 awards issued by state and provincial authorities.
The Institute made an initial purchase of 16 Archicad for TeamWork licences to replace the AutoCAD-based design software House for use in commercial design projects.
