Energy evaluation is an important factor in the design of a building as it affects its energy efficiency, comfort, and sustainability.
It’s important however, to optimize the building performance and in the early stages of the design, while the project is still flexible.
Archicad users already possess the tools to produce a dynamic energy evaluation of their BIM model. The architect or designer can show the client the long-term cost savings and environmental benefits that come with the design. This can help to increase the client’s confidence in the design and make them more likely to sign off on it.
CADcentre is inviting Andy Thomson, Architect, to this online User Group to discuss the topic of energy evaluation and how you can harness the tools within Archicad. Through his practice at Thomson Architect, Andy has been applying his expertise in Net Zero, Zero Carbon, Regenerative and Passive House design since 1997.
