Archicad® for Teamwork Is Best Groupware Product Finalist in SPA's 1998 Codie Awards

The Software Publisher’s Association (SPA) 13th Annual Codie Awards – which honors outstanding creativity and innovation in software – has selected Graphisoft’s Archicad for Teamwork as a finalist in their Best Groupware Product category.
Archicad for Teamwork is an integrated AEC CAD program that allows professionals to share the design of a single “virtual building,” both off line and off site, and enables project teams to collaborate globally via intranets and the Internet.
“The ability to seamlessly share the complex work involved in designing a building is a growing need for architects, designers and builders,” says Graphisoft U.S. President Tamás Hajas. “That’s why being the only AEC CAD finalist in the Codie Awards’ groupware category is such an honor.”
SPA will announce it’s Codie Award winners on March 23 at their 1998 Spring Symposium in San Jose, CA.
Associate Partner Shabbir Boxwala, architect and systems manager for The Orcutt/Winslow Partnership, a large architectural firm in Phoenix, Arizona, comments, “Archicad for Teamwork has added a new dimension to our approach to design by project teams. We use every aspect of Teamwork’s groupware technology both within our office network and when we take laptops out to the job site.”
