Ray Small Named CEO Of Graphisoft NV

Founder Gábor Bojár continues as Chairman of the Board

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY March 12, 2002 – The Supervisory and Management Boards of Graphisoft unanimously appointed Ray Small as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Graphisoft founder and former CEO Gábor Bojár will continue to serve as the company’s Chairman and to play an active role in formulating the Company’s strategy and vision.

Mr. Bojár noted “in the past 20 years, Graphisoft has transformed itself from a 2-person start-up to a publicly-traded company with over 300 employees. We have 20 years of experience in developing parametric object technology for modeling buildings, strong products built on this technology, highly experienced distributors, a world-class development team and very loyal customers. I am very pleased to have Ray Small lead the company in the next phase of its evolution and growth. Ray’s background, experience and record of achievement are exactly what Graphisoft requires to migrate the company to the next level by providing the building and construction industry with a new generation of integrated IT solutions.”

Mr. Small has served as an executive consultant to Graphisoft’s Management Board since November 2001. Prior to working with Graphisoft, he spent 16 years with Gartner Group, where he held a variety of management positions including Senior Vice President in Gartner’s European division, managing a group with revenues of US$135 million. He was also a member of the company’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Management Board. Before Gartner, Mr. Small worked for Moody’s Investors Service and General Electric Information Services Company. He is a US citizen, but has lived in Europe (Germany, the UK and Belgium) for over 15 years. Mr. Small holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Yale University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University Business School.
