With the advent of new NBS Specification tools, Graphisoft UK and NBS have developed NBS Chorus Connect
Add-on to enable live connection to NBS Chorus platform. NBS Chorus Connect focuses on delivering the ‘I’ in
BIM (Building Information Modeling) that is distributed in dedicated databases. The concept of this add-on
supports the industry trends with regards to collaboration, of multiple user access and industry standards
with well-established workflows.
The NBS Chorus Connect Add-on is available for Archicad 23, both Mac OS X and Windows platforms.

To assist our customers GRAPHISOFT have developed a new Archicad add-on that simplifies and streamlines the
interoperability workflow. The Survey Coordinate Tool aims to provide a help with the focus on solving
project coordinate location translation. The add-on creates a data driven approach that allows correct and
precise translation of coordinates between Archicad and other BIM authoring tools. This strongly complements
Graphisoft’s approach to Open BIM initiatives and workflows.
The Updated Survey Coordinates Add-on is available for Archicad 24, Archicad 23, for Archicad 22 Update 4023 (and
higher) and Archicad 21 Update 7000 (and higher).

To assist our customers, Graphisoft have developed a new Archicad add-on that simplifies and streamlines the
existing Archicad Terrain Tool as well as introducing new functionality in following areas:

• Simplified creation of excavation works
• Parametric control of earthwork edge sloping ratios
• Parametric control of multiple levelled areas
• Easy design and calculation of earthwork volumes in Cut and Fill scenarios
• including a definition of Topsoil layer
• Automatic creation of terrain contours and their parametric control
• Graphic visualisation of excavation work components in 2D and 3D.

The connection delivers productivity improvements to architects and other specifiers by providing a quick
and easy-to-use method within Archicad for creating links between the information modeled in Archicad and
that modeled in NBS. Clause titles and references can be added with a single mouse-click; NBS guidance can
be viewed in context to assist decision making; and the specification details can be easily reviewed and
revised, with an automated link ensuring the details in the specification and Archicad models remain in
sync.

This latest Archicad plug-in from GRAPHISOFT links to specifications written in any of NBS specification
systems, including NBS Building, NBS Create, NBS Landscape and NBS Scheduler.

Objects imported from external sources, e.g. DWG, are inferior to native GDL equivalents, lacking
parameters, listing information, or even a 3D representation. This tool automates the process, providing a
high degree of control over the settings for each object and recording the configuration for future reuse.
All the objects imported into an Archicad project can be simultaneously exchanged for native library parts
in a single step.

The add-on can also identify objects from specific sources, e.g. IFC or DWG.

Goodies are free add-ons developed by Graphisoft to complete Archicad with specific abilities. Convert 3D
Studio files to Archicad GDL Objects, use the Interior Wizard Add-on to enhance the modelling of 3D Zones,
convert Meshes to Roofs or install any of the Goodies to extend the features of Archicad.
