Hardware for BIM Server
Recommended hardware
- Processor: 64-bit processor with four or more cores
- RAM: 8 GB or more is recommended. For servers having a high number of active users and projects, consider 16 GB or more RAM
- Hard disk space: 5 GB free disk space is required for the installation, 10 GB or more is required per active project; maintain a minimum of 100 GB of free space for standard operation

Network requirements
- Your network has to accommodate HTTP 1.1 standard.
- It is recommended to configure Fully Qualified Domain Names for the computer that hosts the BIM Server
- The network ports used by the BIM Server needs to be open on all related firewalls. The default ports are:
- BIM Server Manager: 20000
- v20 – Module: 20001
- In case of having a HTTP proxy, make sure the BIM Server traffic gets bypassed
