After a large-scale selection process Capital Facility GmbH & Co.KG decides on Graphisoft’s CAFM solution
Munich/Berlin/Budapest, June 26, 2003 – Graphisoft® today announced
that Messe Berlin – the Berlin Trade Show and Convention Center – will
be managed by its facility management software solutions ArchiFM® and ArchiFM
Maintenance. The complete software system will be deployed in maintenance management,
and on a long-term basis in space management as well.
With this large contract Graphisoft takes a significant step forward in the
German FM market with much potential for future projects. Capital Facility
GmbH & Co.KG (CFG) is responsible for all technical and infrastructure
services in the field of trade show and congress organizations, and further
for the management of the whole fair and congress site in Berlin.
Marking another advancement in Graphisoft’s development in the FM sector,
CFG opted for Graphisoft’s ArchiFM after an exhaustive selection process
including more than 40 providers. Besides numerous other advantages CFG decided
on ArchiFM because its standard features are highly congruous with the complex
list of demands of CFG and Messe Berlin. That ArchiFM could meet the client’s
expectations without extensive customization best of all competitors, was key
to the decision. Only a few functions have to be tailored to the needs of Messe
Berlin. This competitive advantage is becoming more and more visible as the
project moves forward and ensures CFG a farsighted and sound user competence.
Graphisoft’s global operations are here represented by the Regional-Center
Graphisoft Berlin in Berlin-Brandenburg. Thus on-site support and high-quality
consultancy is ensured, another crucial argument for selecting Graphisoft.
CFG’s visiting reference clients with similar projects have convinced
the company of the high efficiency, flexibility and quality of Graphisoft’s
software.
Using ArchiFM, resources will be deployed more effectively and processes optimized
in the maintenance of the Berlin Trade Show including the International Congress
Centrum (ICC). The resulting reduction in costs is essential, as this year’s
state budget for maintenance has been reduced by almost 30%.
“Of course we are convinced of our software’s efficiency, but
there can’t be a better proof of Graphisoft’s emerging leading
position in the CAFM market than a client clearly voting for our solution in
order to manage complex tasks of this order,” said Norbert Sawatzki,
managing director of Graphisoft Berlin GmbH.
“During the tender and qualification process Graphisoft offered the
best price/performance relation and the most demanding content of support supply,” said
Claus Gewald, technical director of CFG. “Especially convincing for us
was the fact that Graphisoft ensures the provision of further standard software
solutions, which in perspective enables CFG to broaden the variety of its basic
services.”
