Designed using Graphisoft’s market leading BIM and energy assessment tools, Archicad® and EcoDesigner™, the Rural Regeneration Centre was recognized by the Green IT judges at a recent award ceremony at London Zoo in Regents Park. The Green IT awards seek to reward organizations that have demonstrated originality and innovation in ‘green’ solutions, products and policies.
Commenting on their success at the awards, Joy Stevenson, Director of Marketing at GRAPHISOFT UK, said, “The Rural Regeneration Centre at Hadlow College, created by James Anwyl of EUROBUILD, using Archicad® and EcoDesigner™ truly demonstrates to the industry the depth of possibilities with ‘Green Architecture’. To date, the Centre has been awarded Passivhaus certification, the first educational establishment in the UK to achieve this accolade, and has won the Environmental Project of the Year at the Construction Computing Awards. Therefore, to also receive recognition from the judges at the Green IT Awards is a great honor and we would like to thank them for taking the time to recognize this unique project.”
