BUDAPEST, January 20, 2010 – ACCIONA has announced that its R&D department has selected Graphisoft’s Archicad® 13 technology-based BIM/Virtual Building™ software, as a model-based design and documentation productivity solution. Archicad will facilitate the sharing of project files and increase productivity, thereby enhancing competitiveness.
ACCIONA is a pioneer in the use of BIM methodology and management in the construction phase, enabling quick response to quantity take-offs and building solutions, resulting in greater efficiency in control and quality assurance. The budding relationship between ACCIONA and GRAPHISOFT was tested on the new León airport terminal – as builders, ACCIONA used Archicad 13 to check and modify the design throughout the building process.
