NCS Color Palette Now Available for Archicad

World leading color system brings natural color to architectural projects

Budapest, December 7, 2000 – Lasercad AB, Cadprojekt and Scaninavian Colour Institute have developed NCS Palette for Archicad, an Archicad plug-in that allows users to incorporate the 1,750 Natural Color System (NCS) colors in architectural projects. NCS is used worldwide, and in many countries is regarded as a standard.

Using the cross-platform plug-in, Archicad can apply the NCS colors to materials and pens, simply by picking from a color wheel or color triangles, or specifying a color using the standard NCS notation.
Created by the Scandinavian Colour Institute, the NCS Palette is intended for color selection, specification and communication, and control of color in design, architecture, research, marketing and manufacturing. It is based on the six colors used by humans to define colors: white, black, yellow, red, blue and green.
The NCS Palette for Archicad is distributed through NCS Colour Centres and, in select countries, through authorized Graphisoft distribution partners. For more information about the Natural Color System, visit www.ncscolour.com.
