Budapest, December 11, 2007 – Helgi Mar Hallgrímsson of Arkthing has won a free commercial license of Archicad 11 as the winner of the November drawing of the «BIM Experience Kit» competition.
«In the past, I have only used 2D CAD software for drafting and specialized 3D Software for modeling. Exporting back and forth between programs has always been a frustrating, time consuming process and often produces unpredictable results,» said Helgi Mar Hallgrímsson, Architect of Arkthing, Reykjavik, Iceland. «Being able to use a single software package for both 2D and 3D is something I have been interested in for some time. Archicad’s Interactive Training guide was a great way for me to develop a fundamental understanding of the BIM way of doing things.»
