BIM Experience Kit a 2008 CODiE Award finalist for 'Best Workforce Training Solution'

Boston, MA – February 21, 2008 – Graphisoft’s Archicad BIM Experience Kit is a finalist in the 23rd Annual CODiE Award competition for «Best Workforce Training Solution.»

The CODiE Awards, sponsored by the //CODiE//Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), are among the most esteemed awards in the software industry, honoring achievement and vision in software, education and technology.
The CODiE Awards recognize the high-tech industry’s most outstanding products and services. The BIM Experience Kit was chosen from more than 1,200 nominations submitted by more than 600 companies in a variety of software categories. Over 219 individuals in the trade press, consulting, education, information technology and other fields reviewed all of the products entered. CODiE Award winners will be announced at a gala function May 20, 2008 at the Palace Hotel, San Francisco, CA.
The Archicad BIM Experience Kit is a CODiE finalist for its unique approach in helping architectural users of 2D CAD become familiar with working in 3D building information modeling (BIM). The free kit combines a full-functioning version of Archicad with an innovative multimedia training tutorial that guides users through the modeling of an actual Frank Lloyd Wright-designed project: the Massaro House in upstate New York. The kit also includes testing to help support to learning process.
