2007 Fall ArchitectsJURY Competition Results

Budapest, January 29, 2008 – Innovative style by Polish student selected

Based on eight months of voting by the community of ArchitectsJURY.com, the «JURY» selected the library project from Lodz, Poland as the winning entry. The project was designed in Archicad by Maciej Grelewicz, who has finished his studies in January, 2008 at Technical University of Lodz.
«Very simple interiors with open plans are contrasted with an ornamental façade», said Maciej Grelewicz about his design.  «The whole building is covered by golden colored panels with a laser-cut letter pattern. The Art Nouveau font, designed by Otto Eckmann forms the connection to the surrounding buildings – the majority was erected at the turn of the 20th century».
