Graphisoft R&D Co. Ltd. announced, that its flagship product for architectural design, Archicad, is available on Windows 95 within 90 days. The announcement was done at the visit of Bill Gates, President of Microsoft Co. to Hungary.
Although the current version 4.55 of Archicad is smoothly running on Windows 95, Graphisoft decided to release a new version with specific support of the technologies offered in the Windows 95.
Archicad for Windows 95 will fully use the performance benefits of the 32-bit Windows 95 operating system, giving more power and speed to the product’s mission-critical functionality. It will support long file names and has drag and drop capability for files: also its graphic interface will be in Windows 95 design.
A further benefit of Archicad for Windows 95 will be to run multiple sessions of Archicad which is not possible by using the presently available Archicad for Windows 3.1.

Archicad 4.55 for Windows 95 will be offered worldwide as a free update to all registered Archicad 4.55 for Windows clients.
