Release Notes – Archicad 22 USA Library Update

Version 4030.57

This Update includes important fixes for library bugs discovered since the original release of Archicad 22 (Build 3009). This Update can be applied to any build of Archicad 22 (Build 3009 and above).

Most important bugs corrected in this update:

  • 247643 CURTAIN WALL: Opening Lines of Curtain Wall Profiled Edge Panels were misplaced in Simplified Detail Level.
  • 250000 CURTAIN WALL: Opening Type parameter could not be scheduled.
  • 248363 CURTAIN WALL: The Cut Pen did not effect the CW Profiled Edge Panel when Cut Components were set to Projected at the Floor Plan Projection Mode settings.
  • 254783 CURTAIN WALL: The order of the skins were reversed in 3D with the CW Composite Panel 22 and the CW Profiled Edge Panel 22.
  • 246822 CURTAIN WALL: The parameter ‘Frame Building Material’ was missing from the Building Materials settings with the ‘Regular Double Frame with Cap’ and the ‘Regular Double Butt-Glazed Frame.
  • 247594 CURTAIN WALL: The profiled frame’s fill on the preview inherited the Schematic/Simplified Building Material instead of the one set in the Profile Manager.
  • 242309 CURTAIN WALL: Tooltip refered to a fill as “Glass” in CW Profiled Edge Panel Settings although it could have been set to other materials.
  • 250086 CURTAIN WALL/DOOR: There were too small infields on the Frame and Leage tabpage of CW Sliding Door.
  • 229332 DOOR: The 3D appearance of D1 Garage 03 door was invalid with particular door leaf types.
  • 247581 LABEL: When modifying an already placed Stair Dimension Label to something else that was not relevant for the edited elements an empty Symbol Label Custom Settings appeared.
  • 252830 OBJECT: After creating an element with LPM with definitions of Full, Medium and Low symbols but without the definition of an “Electrical” and/or “RCP” symbol the element always switched to Low option after selecting either Electrical or RCP options.
  • 247237 OBJECT: Countertop object had incorrect sink position in 2D and 3D with particular Sink Types.
  • 249326 OBJECT: Interface of Web Beam Curved disappeared if End Height parameter was set to an invalid value.
  • 252831 OBJECT: It was not possible to move the 2D Symbol independently of the 3D symbol with certain Electrical elements.
  • 245240 OBJECT: Kitchen Cabinet Base Corner C with Sink had different shape in 2D and 3D.
  • 247356 OBJECT: Shutter Rectangular and Shutter Half Round had wrong 3D Detail level after forward and backward migration.
  • 247588 OBJECT: Surface pop-ups covered each other on library custom user interface.
  • 247589 OBJECT: The ‘Countertop’ object with MEP had a gap between the wall mounted tap and the left connection.
  • 234685 OBJECT: The chord thickness of the Truss Pro object of the USA Library narrowed.
  • 245546 OBJECT: The edge of ‘Gutter Mitered xx’ object was missing in 3D, which is why it was not visible in 3D and Sections/Elevations.
  • 247398 OBJECT: The Schematic 3D Detail Level of the Multi-Basin Counter Object was displaced.
  • 248876 OBJECT: With the Bended Hedge Model Object there was an unwanted sphere in the model.
  • 246065 OPENING: The Control of the 3D preview was inconsistent in the Model View Options dialog.
  • 255686 RAILING: Fixing distribution settings caused crash with overflow memory in certain circumstances.
  • 250149 ZONE: The ‘Override Style of Measured/Calculated Area’ checkbox worked incorrectly with the ‘Zone Stamp 01’.
  • 251176 ZONE: Zone Stamp 01 22 did not have background.
  • 251165 ZONE: Zone Stamp 01 22 was not highlighted when selected.

Install steps

  1. Download the Update.
  2. Exit Archicad before you start the installer.
  3. Make sure that you have administrator rights on your computer.
  4. Make sure that components of your Archicad Library have not been renamed or in any other way modified. If you have modified the Archicad 22 standard library, please re-install it from the original Archicad installer.
  5. Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installer.
  6. Follow the instructions of the wizard to complete the installation.
