Release Notes for Archicad 19 USA Library Update

Version 4554.8

This Update includes important fixes for library bugs discovered since the original release of Archicad 19 (Build 3003). This Update can be applied to any build of Archicad 19 (Build 3003 and above).

Install steps:

  1. Download the Update.

  2. Exit Archicad before you start the installer.

  3. Make sure that you have administrator rights on your computer.

  4. Make sure that components of your Archicad Library have not been renamed or in any other way modified. If you have modified the Archicad 19 standard library, please re-install it from the original Archicad install DVD.

  5. Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installer. To run the installer, Java version 7 must be installed on your computer. You can install Java version 8 from your original Archicad install DVD.

  6. Follow the instructions of the wizard to complete the installation.

Most important bugs corrected in this update:

  • 194633 DOORS: Double Doors: Moving H-V Grid hotspots in elevation had effect only on the right panel panel

  • 194634 DOORS: D1 Combi Commercial Door 19 – Sidelight Width control was missing

  • 195873 DOORS: Storefront Doors: ‘Joint Upper’ parameter was missing from the UI

  • 195874 DOORS: Storefront Windows: ‘Joint Upper’ and ‘Joint Lower’ Parameters were missing from the UI

  • 197528 DOORS: Doors With Sidelight – Sidelight Position control was missing

  • 198125 DOORS: D1 Pocket 19 & D2 Pocket 19 – Symbol Fill attribute was missing

  • 199456 OBJECTS: DET_Brick Coursing 19 – Unit Value was incorrect for USA Standards

  • 194806 OBJECTS: DET_Lumber 19: When custom size was selected, A and B size parameters couldn’t be modified

  • 197131 WINDOWS: Window Marker_NCS 19 – Shape parameter was not editable

  • 194252 WINDOWS: MU Windows – There was no setting to adjust number of horizontal and vertical frames

  • 199455 ZONES: Zone Stamp_1 19 Detail Font Size Control didn’t work
