Release Notes – Archicad 18 SWE Library Update

Version 5550.5550

This Update includes important fixes for library bugs discovered since the original release of Archicad 18 SWE (Build 3657.3657). This Update can be applied to any build of Archicad 18 SWE (Build 4006 and above).

Install steps:

  1. Download the Update.

  2. Exit Archicad before you start the installer.

  3. Make sure that you have administrator rights on your computer.

  4. Make sure that components of your Archicad Library have not been renamed or in any other way modified. If you have modified the Archicad 18 standard library, please re-install it from the original Archicad install DVD.

  5. Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installer. To run the installer, Java version 7 must be installed on your computer. You can install Java version from your original Archicad install DVD.

  6. Follow the instructions of the wizard to complete the installation.

Most important bugs corrected in this update:

  • 146401 DOORS: Butiksingångar: door leaf width was not displayed on floorplan in 1:20 or more detailed scale

  • 179686 DOORS: Garage Doors; Revolving Door: with MVO ‘Detailed 1’ scale the door leaf line was hidden on floorplan

  • 180947 DOORS: Pocket Door: If the Door Frame was turned off, the Egress size was still smaller with the frame width

  • 183588 DOORS: D Straight Curtain Wall_SIS: Wallhole was not properly cut in 3D

  • 184437 DOORS: Basdörr: ‘ifc_optype’ didn’t follow the opening type

  • 184457 DOORS: Fönster_Dörr Litt displayed wrong value for double leaf doors

  • 176295 OBJECTS: Palm Tree Model, Pine Tree Model, Shrubs, Tree Model Simple 1, Tree Model Simple 2: Readable text was upside down

  • 179131 OBJECTS: Error message came up in Revision History stamp when title block’s text height was changed

  • 179671 OBJECTS: ’Handle’ and ‘Knob’ had the same translation in ‘Save Selection as…’ menu

  • 180687 OBJECTS: Shower Cabin: If the Tray Thickness was 0, the Archicad crashed in 3D

  • 182847 OBJECTS: Revision History: in Simple mode, change data appeared repetitively
