Release Notes – Archicad 17 NOR Library Update

Version 5017.3004

This Hotfix includes important fixes for library bugs discovered since the original release of Archicad 17 NOR (Build 4007.3004). This Hotfix can be applied to any build of Archicad 17 NOR (Build 4005 and above).

Install steps:

  1. Download the Hotfix.

  2. Exit Archicad before you start the installer.

  3. Make sure that you have administrator rights on your computer.

  4. Make sure that components of your Archicad Library have not been renamed or in any other way modified. If you have modified the Archicad 17 standard library, please re-install it from the original Archicad install DVD.

  5. Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installer. To run the installer, Java version 7 must be installed on your computer. You can install Java version from your original Archicad install DVD.

  6. Follow the instructions of the wizard to complete the installation.

Most important bugs corrected in this update:

  • 151942 DOORS: Doors with Sidelight: Ganging UI pictures disappeared when Sidelight Sill height wasn’t 0.00

  • 154246 LABELS: Structure Label: Rectangle line extension didn’t react to scaling

  • 156266 OBJECTS: Bicycle Symbol: Fill Type/Pen/Background Pen had no effect on the element

  • 157123 OBJECTS: WC/WC Disabled: Report came up in case of Bowl Type=Type 5 and 3D detail Level=Draft

  • 159253 OBJECTS: Office Desk L1, Office Desk L2: The objects lost their original sizes (A/B) after the migration

  • 160727 OBJECTS: Cabinet Base MultiDrawer: ‘Drawer in 2D’ parameter didn’t display the drawers

  • 144429 SKYLIGHTS: Dormer shed: The texture orientation was wrong

  • 131647 WALL ENDS: Returned End: ‘Fit to skin’ parameter didn’t work in composite wall

  • 143473 WINDOWS: NOR casing: Chart (topplist) must extend further out than the bracket

  • 145337 WINDOWS: Basic Windows: panes configuration took effect on horizontal divison’s hotspots

  • 153573 WINDOWS: Bay and Bow Windows, Ribbon Window: Solid Panel Sash Type had no effect in case of Simple 3D Detail Level

  • 158184 WINDOWS: Arch Top Window 17, Round Window 17, Oval Window 17, Multiside Window 17: Frame surface was changed in forward migration

  • 161042 WINDOWS: The corner column had incorrect geometry in case of custom corner

  • 163885 WINDOWS: Single or Double Hung Opening Type: glass slipped out of the frame in Simple 3D view

  • 166755 WINDOWS: The mirrored opening types were missing
