Archicad 12 SWE Library Update

Version 2009-02-17

This Hotfix includes important fixes for library bugs discovered since the original release of Archicad 12 (Build 2285). This Hotfix can be applied to any build of Archicad 12 (Build 2285 and above).

Install steps:

1. Download the Hotfix by clicking on the Download button on the previous page.
2. Exit Archicad before you start the installer.
3. Make sure that you have administrator rights on your computer.
4. Make sure that components of your Archicad Library have not been renamed or in any other way modified. If you have modified the Archicad 12 standard library, please re-install it from the original Archicad install DVD.
5. Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installer. To run the installer, Java version 6 must be installed on your computer. You can install Java version 6 from your original Archicad install DVD.
6. Follow the instructions of the wizard to complete the installation.

Most important bugs corrected in this update:

• 81692 – Corner Window: W M Bottom Hung 12: 2D script warning when changing corner window type
• 77170 – Curtain Wall Accessories: the 3D Representation can’t be changed
• 80198 – Curtain Wall Accessories – Design cap 01 12 : gaps inside on curved Curtain Wall
• 85524 – Curtain Wall Window: error after adding properties of a Curtain Wall window with inject to a panel. It is not possible to edit this new window anymore
• 83914 – Curtain Wall: custom panel 12 fails to create butt joint
• 87952 – Doors, Windows: if Scale Sensitive is set to 3D Detail Level doorswindows disappear in 3D and Section only hotspots remain.
• 84799 – Doors, Windows: Reveal/Wall Closure tab page “Itdragen/utdragen” does not work
• 84823 – Doors, Windows: setting Model View Options/Override cut fills/Solid foreground the opening frames become black
• 83188 – Doors, Windows: Tolerance/Ganging: no line needed at the tolerance width
• 84779 – Doors, Windows: Wall Closure tab page has no illustration with reveal
• 87140 – Doors, Windows: warning appears when placing doors/windows with functional shutter in curved wall
• 87247 – Doors: D1, D2 Segmented Transom doors: opening line display on fix transom in 3D
• 78378 – Doors: doors with sidelight or with transom: base hotspots appear in wrong position
• 88678 – Doors: Fönsterdorr 12 flips after changing scale
• 85441 – Doors: Segmented doors: casing does not change correctly
• 87176 – Doors: Terrace Door 1,2: different opening line at different scale
• 81863 – Doors: Wood Internal Doors with sidelight: threshold works incorrect, when frame thickness equals wall thickness
• 87132 – Objects: Audience Seating: Rise between Rows does not work
• 87959 – Objects: Chairs: cannot Enable Object’s Pens, always use Symbol Line Pens
• 85508 – Objects: Laptop: missing 2D when Open Display is set to On
• 84896 – Objects: Lasercad Plasma TV object is missing from the 12 library
• 86067 – Objects: Lobby Table: shelf does not connect to leg in 3D
• 84713 – Objects: Round Table 03: wrong display in 3D after resize
• 84481 – Objects: Tap.gsm: it is not possible sizing vertically because there are no hotspots to grab
• 76635 – Objects: Wall Mount table: stretch height function doesn’t work
• 85465 – Stairs: not affected by Work Environment settings for measurements
• 81784 – Stairs: Stair Spiral Wood: warning in 3D, when change Flight Section Type with Soffit
• 86236 – Stairs: Stair U-Shape: 3D error when flights are touching

• 85383 – Windows: Arch top windows: splayed reveal doesn’t work in 3D

• 84448 – Windows: F Nisch Indiv_Edit 11: wrong hotspots on floor plan display
• 86924 – Windows: Fönster Romb : invisible in curved wall in 3D window
• 85943 – Windows: incomplete wall outline on floor plan in the trapezoid wall
• 84521 – Windows: Masonry Arch not on header when reveal is on
• 81004 – Windows: Masonry Arch: an extra line appear in brick arch keystone in case of ganging in elevation
• 87439 – Windows: W Oval Fix, W Oval Piv: width and height parameters cannot differ
• 86644 – Windows: W1 Casement: incorrect sill connection in curved wall when the windows are next to each other.
• 82315 – Windows: wrong Cavity Closure display if Partial Structural Display is set to ‘Core Only’
• 85940 – Windows: wrong floor plan display in the trapezoid wall if using casing and board at 1:50 and above
