This Update addresses collaboration, documentation, modeling, and other miscellaneous issues. The fixes are listed in full detail below.

Collaboration

  • Imported IFC beam’s cross-section keeps its parameters even if “Link Dimensions” was on. (DEF-20136)
  • Archicad no longer crashes during IFC import due to a corrupted Opening. (DEF-18743)
  • IFC export Property Schema and Mappings are no longer lost for IFC4 Entities when saving a file back to a previous Archicad version. (DEF-18381)
  • Files with openings no longer go missing after importing the IFC file into AC26 / AC27 (using General Import Translator). (DEF-18210)
  • We fixed an issue that caused the loss of certain IFC elements during the import to Archicad 27 due to their unusual geometry representation. (DEF-18185)
  • Archicad no longer crashes when opening certain corrupted IFC files. (DEF-18011)
  • MEP classification for Equipment without proper flow connections no longer results in failed IFC export. (DEF-16329)
  • Fixed an issue that caused all Line types to become Solid Lines after exporting to DWF. (DEF-7522)

Documentation

  • Archicad no longer crashes when Dimensions were associated with a Story in a Section or Elevation, and the Story was deleted. (DEF-20549)
  • Fixed an issue that caused Archicad to crash when Symbol Labels were associated with MEP Route Segments. (DEF-20497)
  • “Show on stories” drop-down menu content is no longer missing in the Mesh tool. (DEF-19498)
  • We fixed the issue that caused the Elevation view to show Solid Fill instead of texture. (DEF-8761)

Modeling

  • Flexible Duct elements no longer cause Archicad to crash due to Teamwork compatibility issues. (DEF-195439)
  • The Rotation around X and Y Axis parameters now works for all Pipe Fittings. (DEF-19479)
  • Fixed the Space key + right click shortcut on macOS Sonoma. (DEF-19170)
  • Archicad no longer crashes in 3D and on sections after two MEP elements with different number of ports were connected with a route. (DEF-18206)
  • Archicad no longer crashes upon opening because of a corrupted MEP pipe. (DEF-18105)
  • The Duct Flexible Segments no longer crash Archicad. (DEF-18082)
  • Archicad no longer crashes due to corrupted, invisible MEP Pipe element nodes. (DEF-15113)

Libraries & Objects

  • The GDL editor can now apply changes easily. (DEF-18869)
  • We fixed an issue that caused an excessive lag when stretching the height of GDL objects in the 3D window. (DEF-16609)
  • Asymmetrical Custom Window no longer jumps to a new position after using the Pickup Parameters tool (pipette) and placing it. (DEF-11763)

Project data & BIM

  • Archicad now recognizes the name of the special folder for adding custom weblinks to Archicad Menus in CZE localization. (DEF-18663)
  • Archicad 21 files no longer crash in Archicad 27 because of corrupted criteria. (DEF-18603)
  • “True or false” property values are now displayed as Headlines in Schedule. (DEF-18572)
  • When different Model View Options were selected for the Floor Plan and the 3D Window, querying 3D information for elements used the MVO of the Floor Plan; this has been fixed. (DEF-18538)
  • We fixed an issue that caused some projects to open slowly open due to wall thickness dimensions calculations. (DEF-18386)
  • Archicad no longer crashes when find & select is used to locate a recently deleted MEP route on a manual re-build section view. (DEF-18168)
  • Archicad no longer crashes during open and repair because of missing view setting. (DEF-18111)
  • In Archicad 27, in a Schedule that lists Zones, at the displayed Zone Category Name, it is now possible to select different Zone categories from the pop-up list. (DEF-18044)
  • We fixed an issue that caused Archicad to crash due to cache overflow after receiving changes in Teamwork. (DEF15066)

Visualization

  • The surface materials of profiled beam segments can now be modified. (DEF-18533)

Installation & Update

  • Black squares were shown in the font list on macOS 15. (DEF-20406)
  • Archicad workspace did not resize when using window tiling on macOS 15. (DEF-20333)
  • Double-clicking on an Archicad window title bar did not resize the workspace to fill on macOS 15. (DEF-20325)
  • Chevron icons were missing on macOS 15. (DEF-20025)
  • Archicad no longer crashes without the bug reporter window popping up. (DEF-18276)

Licensing

  • Archicad now don’t have verified license manager revision in SaaS. (DEF-14404)

This Update contains several improvements since the original release of Archicad 27. This package updates only Archicad and the installed Graphisoft Add-ons and Goodies. BIMcloud Basic and BIMcloud can be updated with a separate package, you can access the latest installer here.

To access the latest official Update for your Archicad, please use the “Check for Updates” command in the Archicad Help Menu.


Installation notes
  • The Update process will automatically search your computer for Archicad 27 (including MEP Modeler, EcoDesigner Star and all Graphisoft Add-ons).
  • Make sure you have administrator rights on the computer. Start the full installation process using an administrator account.
  • Make sure none of the Archicad components are modified (e.g. renamed).
  • If you have multiple copies of Archicad on your machine, then the installer will automatically find one copy. If you want to update a different instance, you can use the “Browse” button to locate it. You will need to run the installer multiple times to update each copy of Archicad.
