Installation notes

• Make sure you have administrator rights on the computer. Start the full installation process using an administrator account. For Mac users make sure to mount the installation dmg while being signed in with the administrator account that you always use to install or patch Graphisoft products. Make sure none of the Archicad components are modified (e.g. renamed). 

• When you run the hotfix package, the process will automatically search for Archicad on your computer. You can choose to either update it or not. 

• If you have multiple copies of Archicad on your machine, the installer will automatically find one copy. If you want to update a different instance, you can use the “Browse” button to locate it. You will need to run the installer multiple times to update each copy of Archicad.

• 161549 FILE/IFC/EXPORT: Warning message that “Some elements could not be exported due to missing geometry” appeared after exporting empty openings.
• 163271 FILE/IFC/IMPORT: After importing a particular IFC file 2D symbol of doors were missing and viewing their settings brought up error message.
• 165612 FILE/IFC/IMPORT: If the column settings in the default template had a veneer, IFC imported columns would inherit this veneer.
• 147046 FILE/IFC/IMPORT: Wall niche became an opening when imported into Archicad.
• 161699 FILE/MIGRATION: After migrating a file containing elements very far from the origin the coordinates of elements could double.
• 165203 FREEZE: A mouse clicked in certain regions close to a spline could make Archicad unresponsive.
• 163057 FREEZE: Non-responsive behaviour occurred when background processing of 3d elements refused to allow user interaction.
• 160731 FREEZE: On Mac Archicad seemed to be freezing due to the fact that the publishing window came back behind the main Archicad window after switching between applications.
• 163391 GDL: CALL function couldn’t be rebuild, when it was used for macro name.
• 163791 INSTALL: Hotfix or additional installations could only be made by the same user who had installed Archicad because limted permission of the newly created folders.
• 163409 MODEL: After deleting a wall and then undoing the operation the original intersection geometry with a roof was not restored.
• 157576 MODEL: Align 3D command didn’t work on polygonal Walls.
• 161498 MODEL: Align 3D Texture commands had no effect on Beams.
• 162032 MODEL: Checking and correcting code was added to better handle 3D junction data.
• 161832 MODEL: Curved beams didn’t cut walls.
• 163209 MODEL: Sun and sky objects did not work with marquee.
• 165856 MODEL: textures with alpha channel appeared incorrectly with black patches on OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
• 165619 MODEL: When a Wall-end was placed with a height parameter lower then the floor cut plane, window related error message erroneously appeared.
• 156754 SPEED: Slowdown or freeze could happen while having multiple Archicad instances running side by side.
• 156759 USER INTERFACE: Navigating in 2D using 3Dconnexion Space Navigator worked in wrong direction.
• 165663 USER INTERFACE: When using Archicad on two displays palettes with left side title bar could get inaccessible on MAC OS X 10.9 after dragging them to the border area between two displays.

• 147239 FILE/IFC/DATA: Find & Select and Interactive Element Schedule work for IFC Type Product and IFC assignments data.
• 156971 FILE/IFC/DATA: The Merge function of the IFC Scheme Setup command now opens the IFC Schemes 17 folder by default.
• 160970 FILE/IFC/DATA: IFC name attribute was not descriptive enough.  A mapping file was created that is user modifiable that contains a set of rules formatted in xml to bring data from different fields in an Archicad project into the IFC Name Attribute field. • 159266 VIEW: Zooming in 3D window in Object Mode worked in the wrong direction with 3Dconnexion Mouse.
• 160194 VIEW: Partial Structure Display error could occur in 3D Floor Plan Document views when Trace was used.
• 161571 VIEW: Label Renovation status behaved different depending on the display order.
• 161657 VIEW: Curved Composite Walls weren’t visible on a Reflected Ceiling Plan 3D Document in the Legacy Intersection method.

• 158090 BIMx: On Windows activating the Crouch function caused the BIMx window to become inactive until clicking beside the BIMx window or pressing a key. 
• 159051 BIMx: Elements cut by a Cutplane with the “Use Element Attributes” setting in the “Cut Elements in 3D” dialog were flickering during BIMx navigation.
• 159442 BIMx: BIMx file saved from Archicad 17 could open with version of BIMx Viewer 16.
• 159659 BIMx: Erroneous setting option for Lightmap quality is now removed from interface.
• 159706 BIMX: Overwriting a .BIMx file while saving it resulted in its disappearance. 
• 160159 BIMx: BIMx file saved with the “Create Single Movie…” option from an Archicad project containing multiple camera paths could cause BIMx crash.
• 161182 BIMx: The rotation value of a texture in BIMx was one hundredth of the same value in Archicad.
